Storage & handling

How should products be stored?

Lyophilized compounds should be stored at 2-8°C (36-46°F), away from light. Once reconstituted for laboratory use, keep the solution refrigerated at 2-8°C, protected from light, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. For multiple uses, dividing the solution into smaller aliquots helps preserve it. Stability after reconstitution varies by compound, so follow the handling guidance on your product’s documentation.

What is bacteriostatic water for?

It is a standard laboratory reconstitution agent containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, used to dissolve lyophilized research compounds.
